Vaporwave Rush

Hello & thanks for dropping by. I'm Kenneth Rougeau & I'm excited to share my latest game development project with you! Vaporwave Rush is a rhythm game I've been tirelessly working on for the last several weeks & I'm thrilled to announce that the demo is finally ready to share with the world! The game is currently only a shadow of what all I have in mind, but the foundations are in place for my grander schemes & as "minimum viable products" go, I'm quite proud of it.

The full game, once complete, will center around a "hub world" that you'll explore to discover new songs / levels. Once I have multiplayer fully implemented, you'll be able to hang out in this "chill out" area with your friends, play mini games, and compete against each other for high scores. While the current demo only features a single humanoid avatar running along a fairly simple path, the additional levels I have in mind will be more intricate & host a variety of avatars allowing you to run, swim & fly through them. I also have a host of additional music visualization tricks that will be worked into the mix as well (feel free to check out my VR music visualizer, Chromesthesia, for a taste of what's to come in that respect). I have an enormous library of music to include with a variety of genres & tempos, as well, so there will be no lack of things to do in the final game.
